Every time in front of an audience, I am reminded of the extent to which teaching is performance. I have logged countless hours in front of groups large and small, with responsibility for their engagement over lengthly spans of time.

My contribution to your festival will be most evident from my workshops and jam leadership. But, I am a worthy consideration for an opening spot on your main stage - and I can provide collaborative support for other artists.

While it's mainly uke in hand these days, my first instrument is the cello. I am a proficient bass player and can provide tasteful fill on percussion, keyboards and accordion.

I'm seen as a solid side-man with good ears, a keen sense of groove and style - and an artful awareness of theory, harmony and context.
