Seven years of weekly events, workshops and teaching has attracted thousands to the experience of collective music making

 

Big on style, groove, arrangement and expression, I balance playing and singing with a little theory, and chordal awareness. My learning series of YUGA Song Salutations is a powerful approach to develpment of playing technique at all skill levels.

I present workshops for all ages and levels of experience, sponsored by Koaloha Ukulele of Hawaii. In addition to Canada UKES which I organized, festival credits include Summerfolk (2009), Martha's Vineyard (2015) and the Beaches International Jazz Festival (8 seasons).
My work in schools includes Havergal, St. Clement's, BSS, and the Mabin School. Private students include Oscar nominee, Jessica Chastain.

 

I am currently engaged by Work In Culture on behalf of the City of Toronto to present workshops for arts/culure entrepreneurs. I have taught Advertising and Sales Promotion at Sheridan College, Introduction to New Media at Centennial College and have participated as a panelist/speaker at several forums relating to aspects of digital media and entertainment marketing.
